She won her global recognition in 2013 which is rare for a housewife without any formal education in cookery or journalism. Her passion , tryst with cooking, creativity, simple intelligent approach and hard work of years gained in home kitchen has made her an expert in all kinds of vegetarian dishes of Indian cuisines and takes the culinary world by storm winning the Oscar of Cook Books with her debut offerings. Her main ingredients are ” Variety, Creativity and Vegetarianism “.
International Award

Her debut Cook Book “Vandana Veggie Creations” was conferred International award “Best Indian Cuisine Book of the World” and “Best Vegetarian Book in U.A.E” by the Gourmand World Cook Book Awards at prestigious La Carrousel du Louvre in Paris in the presence of international chefs, authors and publishers of 171 countries.

She defeated finalists from 5 countries viz USA,UK, Canada, Singapore, including  “Yellow Chili” by  Sanjeev Kapoor from India under the Indian Cuisine category.

Gourmand World Cook book Awards are known as the Oscars in the World of Cook Books.
